I think a lot of us have bullies in our lives, and unfortunately sometimes those bullies take the form of our mothers. Which is fucking sad.
Be happy, healthy, and most of all - work the shit outta whatever you are! Burlesque ended up being an unexpected means for me to achieve body acceptance and love, and I went one step further and tried to articulate this in the form of an act.
I hope I get to perform this act again somewhere soon…
